Bradys New Standards Publishing Position
Bradys history remains rich and long, and its changing. A new set of Standards will soon replace the DOT curriculum. Scope of practice will continue to evolve. More research is emerging every day. And EMS is becoming an integral part in the overall chain of care. Brady understands that in times of change, our customers want to be able to rely on us to provide solutions that are accurate, current, and dynamic. Our author team is active and accessible; our editorial, marketing, and sales teams have many years of experience in EMS publishing; and we are backed by the largest and most successful textbook publishing company in the world.
We also know that our customers have unique and different needs. Not all of you will transition to the Standards at the same time. Your scope of practice and protocols are different, depending on where you work. You teach out of fire houses, ambulance services, or colleges. Your students are 18, 35, and 60. You need tools that enable you to teach and learn in your particular environment. Because of this, we will:
- Continue to strive to create products that are flexible, engaging, and relevant;
- Keep our DOT-curriculum products current for some time, while at the same time offering new solutions for Standards-based education;
- Offer more ways in which to assess students performance;
- Create curriculum to assist in the Standards transition;
- Provide the largest and most comprehensive Custom solutions in the publishing business.
